Making Progress
We are finally making progress with the wedding! We ordered the invitations. They will be like these except different colors obviously.

I also booked our honeymoon! 5 days/4 nights in Cancun Mexico at the all-inclusive Riu Caribe. We will spend the our wedding night here then spend Sunday night in St. Louis and fly out at 7 am Monday Morning.
We had our engagement pictures taken Friday so stay tuned for those!

Date change?
I think we are changing the date of the wedding. After looking at honeymoon ideas, we just won't have any time to relax if we keep it at the 15th. So, after calling my vendors, I am moving the wedding to the 25th of July. The only vendor I am waiting to hear back from is Mtn Grove rentals.

Honeymoon Registry
Eric and I have registered at Traveler's Joy. You can see our page here. http://www.travelersjoy.com/members/gettyswedding/
We already have many of the typical wedding gifts (pots and pans, toasters, etc) and would really appreciate contributions so that we are able to take an amazing honeymoon.
We will be registering at other places, but have not yet gotten around to it.

invitations..
So anyone who has heard me change my mind 1,000 times on the invites is probably annoyed by this point, but I finally found one on Vista Print that I really like! The good thing about Vista Print is their dirt cheap prices. We can get 200 invitations for $40. Anyone who has looked at the costs of invitations these days knows how expensive they are. Let me know what you think!

Take the cake
So yesterday, Eric and I met my mom in Springfield to meet with a baker, Sonja, who owns Celebrations by Sonja. After tasting some delicious white cake with strawberry filling, we got down to business. We decided on a 4 tier square cake with an ivory base color. The picture below isn't *exactly* like what our cake will look like, but close. The bottom tier will stay the same except the design will be in lime green. The next tier will have stripes of alternating thickness and alternating green and purple. The next tier will have 2 sizes of polka dots. The larger dots will be outlined in green and filled in with purple. The smaller dots will be green. The top tier will have our monogram "G" on the front facing side and a pretty design that borders the other 3 sides in the centers. It is going to be awesome!
